Calculator information
Values are held in the current page while you use it. Tiletally does not save them to an account, a database, cookies or browser storage. Refreshing or closing the page clears the estimate.
If you download an estimate, the file is saved on your device. If you print, your browser and chosen printer handle the output. Tiletally does not receive a copy.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. Its browser script reports visits, pageviews, referring websites, country, browser and page-loading performance. These reports help us see which pages are used and where performance needs attention. Visits count entrances from another website or a direct link; they do not identify unique people. See Cloudflare's metric definitions and report dimensions.
Cloudflare states that this analytics service does not use cookies or localStorage, or fingerprint individuals for analytics. See Cloudflare's privacy-first analytics explanation.
Cloudflare receives a source IP address as part of delivering the analytics request. Its RUM documentation says that address is discarded at the nearest Cloudflare data centre and is not stored in core databases or logs. This describes analytics processing; ordinary hosting and security processing is described separately below. See Cloudflare's RUM data processing documentation.
The calculator processes project inputs on your device. Measurements, quantities, prices, section names and project files are not included in analytics reports or sent by the calculator to the analytics service. The analytics script loads from Cloudflare's service separately from the local calculator code.
Cookies and advertising
Tiletally has no active advertising scripts, tracking pixels, account system, contact form or embedded third-party widgets. The calculator does not set application cookies. Fonts and design assets are served with the site; the Cloudflare analytics script is the separate external service described above.
If advertising is added later, this notice will be updated to describe it before those scripts are enabled. The publisher verification identifier and ads.txt do not activate advertising or establish approval.
Google Search Console
Google Search Console provides the operator with aggregate reports about the site in Google Search, such as impressions and clicks. These reports concern activity in Google Search rather than recordings of calculator use. Search Console verification does not add analytics JavaScript or visitor-tracking cookies to this site, and the calculator does not transmit its inputs to Search Console. See Google’s explanation of Search Console performance reports.
Hosting request information
Tiletally is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare receives technical request information needed to serve and protect the site, which can include an IP address, the requested page and browser or network information. Its operational processing and logs are described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The calculator does not send project inputs to Cloudflare or to the site operator.
Email correspondence
Our public contact address, tiletally.sturdy964@aleeas.com, is a SimpleLogin forwarding alias. SimpleLogin forwards messages to the site operator's private mailbox. If you email us, your sender address, email headers, message body and any attachments pass through the email services needed to deliver the message. We receive the correspondence so we can read and respond to it.
SimpleLogin handles forwarding and its own delivery records under the SimpleLogin privacy policy. Your own email provider and the receiving mailbox provider also process email as part of delivery. Sending an email is separate from using the calculator; the planner does not collect an email address or send a message for you.
Links to other websites
The tile guide links to retailer information. Those websites have their own privacy practices. Following a link takes you to that separate website.
Questions
For privacy enquiries, use the public email address on the contact page. If your enquiry concerns an email you sent, include enough information to identify that correspondence.
